What “Clean Label” Actually Means

“Clean label” is not a legal term — it is a promise about transparency: a short ingredient list of recognisable foods, no artificial colours or flavours, no hidden preservatives.

Flip a Makhanza pack: foxnuts, millets, cold-pressed oil, spices, jaggery where sweetness is needed. That is the whole story.

We believe the future of Indian snacking is products whose labels read like a home kitchen, not a chemistry set.
