These terms govern the MAKHANZA affiliate programme, run by RASI Lifestyle, Chennai. Joining the programme means agreeing to them.
What you earn
- 12% commission on the value of every qualifying order placed through your referral link.
- Commission is calculated on the product value excluding GST and excluding delivery charges. Because our displayed prices include GST, the commissionable amount is slightly lower than the price on the page.
- Your referral link sets a cookie lasting 30 days. If a customer clicks your link and buys within 30 days, the commission is yours.
- Where a customer has clicked more than one affiliate link, the most recent affiliate is credited.
Getting paid
- Commissions are held for a 7-day grace period after the order is completed, to allow for cancellations and returns. A commission on a cancelled or refunded order is reversed.
- The minimum payout is ₹1,000. Balances below that roll over to the next cycle.
- Payouts are made to the payment details on your affiliate account. Keep them current — we cannot recover a payment sent to details you supplied incorrectly.
- You are responsible for your own tax on affiliate income. We do not deduct or remit tax on your behalf. Where TDS applies under Indian law, it will be deducted before payment.
Joining and approval
Applications are reviewed by a person, not approved automatically. We look for genuine audiences and honest promotion, and we may decline an application without giving a reason. We may also close an account at any time, though we will pay any commission properly earned up to that point.
What you must not do — please read this part
We sell food. Food advertising in India is regulated, and a claim you make on our behalf can create liability for us. As an affiliate you must not:
- Make any health or disease claim — including that our products aid weight loss, immunity, diabetes, heart health, brain function, detox, or cure or prevent any condition. Under the FSSAI (Advertising and Claims) Regulations, 2018 these are regulated claims requiring substantiation we hold on file.
- Invent or exaggerate nutrition figures. Use only the values published on our product pages.
- Write fake reviews, or represent yourself as an ordinary customer when you are earning commission. Disclose the relationship clearly — “#ad”, “paid partnership” or plain words to that effect.
- Bid on “MAKHANZA”, “Makhanza” or close variants in paid search, or run ads that could be mistaken for our own.
- Promote through spam, unsolicited email or bulk messaging.
- Use coupon or deal sites to intercept customers who were already buying.
- Refer your own purchases. Self-referrals are not eligible for commission.
Breaching this section forfeits any unpaid commission and ends the partnership.
Using our name and images
You may use our product photography and brand name to promote MAKHANZA honestly. You may not alter our logo, imply that you are MAKHANZA or speak on behalf of the company, or register domains, social handles or business names containing our brand.
Changes
We may amend these terms — including the commission rate — with notice by email. Changes apply to commissions earned after the notice date, never retrospectively.
